Глава 3

1 — Слушай это слово, которое Господь изрек против тебя, о народ Израиля, против всех родов, которые Я вывел из Египта:

2 Вы единственные, кого Я признал из всех народов земли; поэтому Я накажу вас за все ваши грехи.

3 Разве пойдут двое вместе, если не сговорятся заранее?

4 Разве ревет в чаще лев, когда нет у него добычи? Разве рычит львенок в своем логове, когда он ничего не поймал?

5 Разве птица попадется в петлю на земле, если для нее не положили приманку? Разве поднимется с земли петля, когда ничего в нее не попало?

6 Когда в городе звучит рог, разве народ не трепещет? Когда в город приходит беда, разве не Господь наслал ее?

7 Также Владыка Господь не делает ничего, не открыв Своего замысла слугам Своим, пророкам.

8 Лев заревел — кто не испугается? Владыка Господь сказал — кто не станет пророчествовать?

9 Объявите крепостям Ашдода и крепостям Египта: — Соберитесь на горах Самарии; посмотрите на великие бесчинства в ней, на притеснения среди ее народа.

10 — Они не знают, как поступать праведно, — возвещает Господь, — те, кто копит в своих крепостях добро, собранное насилием и грабежом.

11 Поэтому так говорит Владыка Господь: — Враг заполонит землю; Он разрушит твои твердыни и разграбит твои крепости.

12 Так говорит Господь: — Как пастух вырывает из пасти льва две голени или часть уха, так спасены будут израильтяне, те, кто сидит в Самарии на краю своих постелей и в Дамаске на ложах своих.

13 — Слушайте это и свидетельствуйте против дома Иакова, — возвещает Владыка Господь, Бог Сил.

14 — В день, когда Я накажу Израиль за его грехи, Я разрушу и жертвенники Вефиля ; рога жертвенника будут отсечены и упадут на землю.

15 Я разорю зимний дом вместе с летним домом; украшенные слоновой костью дома будут уничтожены и особняки будут снесены, — возвещает Господь.

4 Will a lion738 roar7580 in the forest,3293 when he has no369 prey?2964 will a young3715 lion3715 cry5414 6963 out of his den,4585 if518 he have taken3920 nothing?1115

5 Can a bird6833 fall5307 in a snare6341 on the earth,776 where no369 gin4170 is for him? shall one take5927 up a snare6341 from the earth,127 and have taken3947 nothing3808 at all?

6 Shall a trumpet7782 be blown8628 in the city,5892 and the people5971 not be afraid?2729 shall there be evil7451 in a city,5892 and the LORD3068 has not done6213 it?

7 Surely3588 the Lord136 GOD3069 will do6213 nothing,3808 1697 but he reveals1540 his secret5475 to his servants5650 the prophets.5030

8 The lion738 has roared,7580 who4310 will not fear?3372 the Lord136 GOD3069 has spoken,1696 who4310 can but prophesy?5012

9 Publish8085 in the palaces759 at Ashdod,795 and in the palaces759 in the land776 of Egypt,4714 and say,559 Assemble622 yourselves on the mountains2022 of Samaria,8111 and behold7200 the great7227 tumults4103 in the middle7130 thereof, and the oppressed6217 in the middle8432 thereof.

10 For they know3045 not to do6213 right,5229 said5002 the LORD,3068 who store686 up violence2555 and robbery7701 in their palaces.759

11 Therefore3651 thus3541 said559 the Lord136 GOD;3069 An adversary6862 there shall be even round5439 about the land;776 and he shall bring3381 down3381 your strength5797 from you, and your palaces759 shall be spoiled.962

12 Thus3541 said559 the LORD;3068 As the shepherd7462 takes5337 out of the mouth6310 of the lion738 two8147 legs,3767 or176 a piece915 of an ear;241 so3651 shall the children1121 of Israel3478 be taken5337 out that dwell3427 in Samaria8111 in the corner6285 of a bed,4296 and in Damascus1833 in a couch.6210

13 Hear8085 you, and testify5749 in the house1004 of Jacob,3290 said5001 the Lord136 GOD,3069 the God430 of hosts,6635

14 That in the day3117 that I shall visit6485 the transgressions6588 of Israel3478 on him I will also visit6485 the altars4196 of Bethel:1008 and the horns7161 of the altar4196 shall be cut1438 off, and fall5307 to the ground.776

15 And I will smite5221 the winter2779 house1004 with the summer7019 house;1004 and the houses1004 of ivory8127 shall perish,6 and the great7227 houses1004 shall have an end,5486 said5001 the LORD.3068
