1 Why4100 do the heathen1471 rage,7283 and the people3816 imagine1897 a vain7385 thing?

2 The kings4428 of the earth776 set3320 themselves, and the rulers7336 take counsel3245 together,3162 against5921 the LORD,3068 and against5921 his anointed,4899 saying,

3 Let us break5423 their bands4147 asunder, and cast7993 away their cords5688 from us.

4 He that sits3427 in the heavens8064 shall laugh:7832 the LORD136 shall have them in derision.3932

5 Then227 shall he speak1696 to them in his wrath,639 and vex926 them in his sore displeasure.2740

6 Yet have I set5258 my king4428 on my holy6944 hill2022 of Zion.6726

7 I will declare5608 the decree:2706 the LORD3068 has said559 to me, You are my Son;1121 this day3117 have I begotten3205 you.

8 Ask7592 of me, and I shall give5415 you the heathen1471 for your inheritance,5159 and the uttermost657 parts of the earth776 for your possession.272

9 You shall break7489 them with a rod7626 of iron;1270 you shall dash5310 them in pieces like a potter's3335 vessel.3627

10 Be wise7919 now6258 therefore, O you kings:4428 be instructed,3256 you judges8199 of the earth.776

11 Serve5647 the LORD3068 with fear,3374 and rejoice1523 with trembling.7460

12 Kiss5401 the Son,1248 lest6435 he be angry,599 and you perish6 from the way,1870 when3588 his wrath639 is kindled1197 but a little.4592 Blessed835 are all3605 they that put their trust2620 in him.

1 К чему это неистовство народов и эти тщетные замыслы язычников?

2 Цари земли к сраженью готовятся, и правители сговариваются против ГОСПОДА и Помазанника Его.

3 «Разорвем путы их, — говорят они, — сбросим с себя их оковы».

4 Восседающий в небе на престоле посмеется над ними, выставит на посмешище их Господь.

5 Скажет Он им во гневе Своем, пылающей яростью Своей их устрашая:

6 «Совершил Я уже посвящение Царя Моего на святой горе Моей, на Сионе».

7 О воле ГОСПОДА возвещать Я стану! Он сказал Мне: «Ты Сын Мой, Я ныне Отцом Твоим стал.

8 Проси у Меня, и дам Я в наследие народы Тебе и землю от края до края Тебе во владение.

9 Жезлом железным поразишь нечестивых и, словно посуду из глины, их разобьешь».

10 Будьте ж мудры, цари, и опомнитесь, судьи земли!

11 Пред ГОСПОДОМ благоговея, служите Ему и в волнении трепетном радуйтесь.

12 Сына почтите, дабы не вызвать вам гнева Его и не погибнуть на вашем пути: в одно мгновенье гнев Его воспылать может. Благо всем, кто находит прибежище в Нем!
