5 И если я Твоим законам подчинюсь, Твоим последую велениям,

6 тогда не будет стыдно мне, я Твои узнаю повеления.

7 Тогда, Твою изведав праведность и доброту, воистину Тебя я восхвалю.

8 Законам Твоим я подчинюсь, Господи, прошу, не покинь меня!

9 Как молодой человек может жить непорочно? Только следуя слову Твоему.

10 Я пытаюсь служить Тебе всем сердцем моим, помоги мне Твои наставления исполнять.

11 Я внимательно изучаю Твои заветы, чтобы против Тебя не согрешить.

12 Господи, будешь Ты восхвалён, научи меня жить по законам Твоим.

13 Всё, чему учишь Ты, я людям передам.

14 Как люди рады богатству, так я рад следовать повелениям Твоим.

15 Обдумываю правила Твои, путями следую Твоими.

16 Наслаждаюсь Твоими законами, мне слов Твоих не позабыть.

17 Будь добр ко мне, Твоему слуге, и тогда я смогу жить, следуя Твоим велениям.

18 Господь, открой мне глаза, позволь заглянуть в учение Твоё и увидеть, как оно прекрасно.

19 Я — всего лишь странник на земле, так не прячь от меня Твоих учений.

20 Душа моя полна желанием Твои законы постоянно изучать.

21 Ты гневаешься на гордецов, на них лежит проклятье, они Твоим не подчинились повелениям.

22 Не допусти, чтобы позор я испытал, ведь следую я во всём Твоим заветам.

23 Пускай правители все вместе злословят обо мне, но я — Твой слуга, я чту Твои законы.

24 Они как наслаждение для меня, я нахожу в них помощь и советы.

25 Господи, смерть моя близка, одним лишь словом жизнь мою продли!

26 Я рассказал о жизни моей, и Ты ответил, так научи сейчас Твоим законам.
