Глава 4

1 Народ Исраила, слушайте слово Вечного, потому что у Вечного тяжба с вами, жители этой земли:– В этой стране нет ни верности, ни любви, ни познания Всевышнего.

2 Есть лишь проклятие, ложь и убийство, воровство и разврат.Они переходят все границы, кровопролитие следует за кровопролитием.

3 Поэтому земля высыхает, и все, кто живёт в ней, изнемогают.Гибнут дикие звери, птицы небесные и рыбы морские.

4 Но пусть никто не судится, пусть один не обвиняет другого; Я вас обвиняю, священнослужители!

5 Вы спотыкаетесь днём и ночью, и пророки спотыкаются вместе с вами.Итак, Я истреблю вашу мать –

6 Мой народ будет истреблён из-за недостатка знания.
Как вы отвергли знание, так и Я отвергну вас, Мои священнослужители.Как вы забыли Закон вашего Бога, так и Я забуду ваших детей.

7 Чем больше становилось священнослужителей, тем больше они грешили против Меня. Я поменяю их славу на нечто постыдное.

8 Они питаются жертвами за грехи Моего народа, потому и желают их беззаконий.

9 Что будет с народом, то и со священнослужителями. Я накажу их за грехи их и воздам им по делам их.

10 Они будут есть, но не насытятся, будут блудить, но останутся бездетными,потому что они оставили Вечного и предали себя

11 разврату,вину старому и молодому, которые отнимают понимание

12 у Моего народа. Они просят совета у деревяшки, и палка даёт им ответ.Они сбились с пути, следуя за ложными богами, и, развратившись, отдалились от своего Бога.

13 Они приносят жертвы на вершинах гор и сжигают приношения на холмах,под дубом, тополем и теревинфом, . потому что их тень приятна.Поэтому ваши дочери блудят, а ваши невестки нарушают супружескую верность.

14 Я не накажу ваших дочерей, когда они будут блудить,и не накажу ваших невесток, когда они будут нарушать супружескую верность,потому что мужчины сами уединяются с блудницами и приносят жертвы с блудницами храмовыми. .Невежественный народ погибнет!

15 Хотя ты и блудишь, Исраил, пусть хоть Иудея не грешит.Не ходите в Гилгал, не поднимайтесь в Бет-Авен («дом зла»). . Не клянитесь там: «Верно, как и то, что жив Вечный!»

16 Исраильтяне упираются, как упрямая телица.Как же тогда Вечный сможет пасти их, словно овец на просторном пастбище?

17 Ефраим привязался к идолам – оставь его!

18 Даже когда у них кончается вино, они продолжают блудить. Их правители любят постыдные пути.

19 Сильный ветер сметёт их, и им будет стыдно за свои жертвы.

Chapter 4

1 Hear8085 the word1697 of the LORD,3068 you children1121 of Israel:3478 for the LORD3068 has a controversy7379 with the inhabitants3427 of the land,776 because3588 there is no369 truth,571 nor369 mercy,2617 nor369 knowledge1847 of God430 in the land.776

2 By swearing,422 and lying,3584 and killing,7523 and stealing,1589 and committing5003 adultery,5003 they break6555 out, and blood1818 touches5060 blood.1818

3 Therefore5921 3651 shall the land776 mourn,56 and every3605 one that dwells3427 therein shall languish,535 with the beasts2416 of the field,7704 and with the fowls5775 of heaven;8064 yes,1571 the fishes1709 of the sea3220 also1571 shall be taken622 away.

4 Yet389 let no408 man376 strive,7378 nor408 reprove3198 another:376 for your people5971 are as they that strive7378 with the priest.3548

5 Therefore shall you fall3782 in the day,3117 and the prophet5030 also1571 shall fall3782 with you in the night,3915 and I will destroy1820 your mother.517

6 My people5971 are destroyed1820 for lack1097 of knowledge:1847 because3588 you have rejected3988 knowledge,1847 I will also reject3988 you, that you shall be no priest3547 to me: seeing you have forgotten7911 the law8451 of your God,430 I will also1571 forget7911 your children.1121

7 As they were increased,7230 so3651 they sinned2398 against me: therefore will I change4171 their glory3519 into shame.7036

8 They eat398 up the sin2403 of my people,5971 and they set5375 their heart5315 on413 their iniquity.5771

9 And there shall be, like people,5971 like priest:3548 and I will punish6485 them for their ways,1870 and reward7725 them their doings.4611

10 For they shall eat,398 and not have enough:7646 they shall commit2181 prostitution,2181 and shall not increase:6555 because3588 they have left5800 off to take heed8104 to the LORD.3068

11 Prostitution2184 and wine3196 and new8492 wine8492 take3947 away the heart.3820

12 My people5971 ask7592 counsel at their stocks,6086 and their staff4731 declares5046 to them: for the spirit7307 of prostitutions2183 has caused them to err,8582 and they have gone a whoring2181 from under8478 their God.430

13 They sacrifice2076 on the tops7218 of the mountains,2022 and burn6999 incense6999 on the hills,1389 under8478 oaks437 and poplars3839 and elms,424 because3588 the shadow6738 thereof is good:2896 therefore5921 3651 your daughters1323 shall commit2181 prostitution,2181 and your spouses3618 shall commit5003 adultery.5003

14 I will not punish6485 your daughters1323 when3588 they commit2181 prostitution,2181 nor your spouses3618 when3588 they commit5003 adultery:5003 for themselves1992 are separated6504 with whores,2181 and they sacrifice2076 with harlots:6948 therefore the people5971 that does not understand995 shall fall.3832

15 Though518 you, Israel,3478 play the harlot,2181 yet let not Judah3063 offend;816 and come935 not you to Gilgal,1537 neither408 go5927 you up to Bethaven,1007 nor408 swear,7650 The LORD3068 lives.2416

16 For Israel3478 slides5637 back5637 as a backsliding5637 heifer:6510 now6258 the LORD3068 will feed7462 them as a lamb3532 in a large4800 place.

17 Ephraim669 is joined2266 to idols:6091 let him alone.

18 Their drink5435 is sour:5493 they have committed2181 prostitution2181 continually: her rulers4043 with shame7036 do love,157 Give3051 you.

19 The wind7307 has bound6887 her up in her wings,3671 and they shall be ashamed954 because of their sacrifices.2077

6 My people5971 are destroyed1820 for lack1097 of knowledge:1847 because3588 you have rejected3988 knowledge,1847 I will also reject3988 you, that you shall be no priest3547 to me: seeing you have forgotten7911 the law8451 of your God,430 I will also1571 forget7911 your children.1121
