Псалом 89

1 Молитва Моисея, человека Божия. Господи! Ты нам прибежище из рода в род.

2 Когда еще не родились горы, и не устроена была земля и вселенная, и от века и до века Ты - Бог.

3 Ты возвращаешь человека в тление, и говоришь: возвратитесь сыны человеческие!

4 Ибо тысяча лет пред очами Твоими, как день вчерашний, когда он минул, и как стража в ночи.

5 Ты как наводнением уносишь их; они как сновидение, как трава, которая утром свежа,

6 Утром цветет и свежа, вечером подсекается и иссыхает.

7 Ибо мы исчезаем от гнева Твоего, и от ярости Твоей мы в смятении.

8 Ты положил преступления наши пред Тобою, и тайное наше пред светом лица Твоего.

9 Все дни наши оскудевают от негодования Твоего, лета наши исчезают, как звук.

10 Дней лет наших всего до семидесяти лет, а при большей крепости до осмидесяти лет: и самый цвет их изнурение и скорбь; ибо протекают быстро, и мы улетаем.

11 Кто знает силу гнева Твоего и Твою ярость, чтобы достойно благоговеть пред Тобою?

12 Научи нас так счислять дни наши, чтобы нам приобресть сердце мудрое.

13 Обратися, Господи! Доколе? Умилосердися над рабами Твоими.

14 Утром насыти нас Твоею благостью, и мы будем радоваться и веселиться во все дни наши.

15 Возвесели нас по мере дней, в которые Ты поражал нас, по мере лет, в которые мы видели бедствие.

16 Да явится над рабами Твоими дело Твое, и слава Твоя над сынами их.

17 Да будет благоволение Господа, Бога нашего с нами, и дело рук наших соверши нам, и дело рук наших соверши.

Psalm 89

1 I WILL sing of the mercies of the LORD for ever; with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness to all generations.

2 For I have said, The world shall be built up with mercy; thy faithfulness shalt thou establish in the very heavens.

3 I have made a covenant with my chosen, I have sworn to David my servant,

4 Thy offspring will I establish for ever, and build up thy throne to all generations.

5 And the heavens shall praise thy wonders, O LORD, thy faithfulness also in the congregation of the saints.

6 For who in heaven can be compared to the LORD? who among the angels can be likened to the LORD?

7 God stands forth in the assembly of the saints, great and revered above all that are about him.

8 O LORD God of hosts, who is mighty like thee? and thy faithfulness is round about thee.

9 Thou rulest the splendor of the sea; thou stillest the waves thereof.

10 Thou hast humbled the proud as those that are slain; thou hast scattered thine enemies with thy strong arm.

11 The heavens are thine, the earth also is thine; as for the world and the fulness thereof, thou hast founded them.

12 The north and the south, thou hast created them; Tabor and Hermon glorify thy name.

13 Thine is the arm, and thine is the might; thy hand is strong and thy right hand shall be exalted.

14 Thy throne is built on righteousness and judgment; mercy and truth go before thy face.

15 Blessed is the people that understand thy glory; they shall walk, O LORD, in the light of thy countenance.

16 In thy name shall they rejoice all the day; and in thy righteousness shall they be exalted.

17 For thou art the glory of our strength; and in thy favor our horn shall be exalted.
