3 For you are my rock5553 and my fortress;4686 therefore for your name's8034 sake4616 lead5148 me, and guide5095 me.

1 Псалом Давида. Стих Блажен, чьи преступления прощены и грехи покрыты!

2 Блажен человек, которому ГОСПОДЬ не вменяет прегрешения и дух которого чужд обмана!

3 Пока замалчивал я грех свой, изнемогла плоть моя от непрестанных стенаний.

4 День и ночь ощущал я, как тяжела рука Твоя, иссякли силы мои, как влага в летний зной.

5 Но Тебе признался я во грехе своем и вину свою не стал скрывать. Сказал я тогда: «Исповедую я ГОСПОДУ преступления мои», и Ты снял с меня вину мою, простил мой грех.

6 Так пусть же каждый слуга Твой верный Тебе молится, пока даешь ему возможность найти Тебя; тогда и при большом разливе своем никакие воды его не достигнут.

7 Ты прибежище мое, защитишь меня в день бедствия и песнями избавления окружишь меня.

8 Ты обещал мне: «Я умудрю тебя, наставлю на путь, по которому идти ты должен, совет тебе дам, и око Мое над тобою пребудет».

9 Поэтому я всем скажу: «Не будьте ж столь неразумны, как кони иль мулы, буйство которых сдерживать нужно уздой с удилами, иначе к себе их никогда не приблизишь».

10 Много скорбей у человека нечестивого, а кто ГОСПОДУ вверяется, любовью неизменной окружен будет.

11 Радуйтесь же в ГОСПОДЕ и торжествуйте, живущие праведно, ликуйте все, кто говорит и поступает честно.
