1 And this2063 is the blessing,1293 with which834 Moses4872 the man376 of God430 blessed1288 the children1121 of Israel3478 before6440 his death.4194

2 And he said,559 The LORD3068 came935 from Sinai,5514 and rose2224 up from Seir8165 to them; he shined3313 forth from mount2022 Paran,6290 and he came857 with ten7233 thousands7233 of saints:6944 from his right3225 hand3225 went a fiery799 law1881 for them.

3 Yes,637 he loved2245 the people;5971 all3605 his saints6918 are in your hand:3027 and they sat8497 down8497 at your feet;7272 every one shall receive5375 of your words.1703

4 Moses4872 commanded6680 us a law,8451 even the inheritance4181 of the congregation6952 of Jacob.3290

5 And he was king4428 in Jeshurun,3484 when the heads7218 of the people5971 and the tribes7626 of Israel3478 were gathered622 together.3162

6 Let Reuben7205 live,2421 and not die;4191 and let not his men4962 be few.4557

7 And this2063 is the blessing of Judah:3063 and he said,559 Hear,8085 LORD,3068 the voice6963 of Judah,3063 and bring935 him to his people:5971 let his hands3027 be sufficient7227 for him; and be you an help5828 to him from his enemies.6862

8 And of Levi3878 he said,559 Let your Thummim8550 and your Urim224 be with your holy2623 one, whom834 you did prove5254 at5921 Massah,4532 and with whom you did strive7378 at the waters4325 of Meribah;4809

9 Who said559 to his father1 and to his mother,517 I have not seen7200 him; neither3808 did he acknowledge5234 his brothers,251 nor3808 knew3045 his own children:1121 for they have observed8104 your word,565 and kept5341 your covenant.1285

10 They shall teach3384 Jacob3290 your judgments,4941 and Israel3478 your law:8451 they shall put7760 incense7004 before639 you, and whole3632 burnt3632 sacrifice on your altar.4196

11 Bless,1288 LORD,3068 his substance,3426 and accept7521 the work6467 of his hands;3027 smite4272 through the loins4975 of them that rise6965 against him, and of them that hate8130 him, that they rise6965 not again.

12 And of Benjamin1144 he said,559 The beloved3039 of the LORD3068 shall dwell7931 in safety983 by him; and the Lord shall cover2645 him all3605 the day3117 long, and he shall dwell7931 between996 his shoulders.3802

13 And of Joseph3130 he said,559 Blessed1288 of the LORD3068 be his land,776 for the precious4022 things of heaven,8064 for the dew,2919 and for the deep8415 that coucheth7257 beneath,8478

14 And for the precious4022 fruits8393 brought forth by the sun,8121 and for the precious4022 things put1645 forth1645 by the moon,3391

15 And for the chief7218 things of the ancient6924 mountains,2042 and for the precious4022 things of the lasting5769 hills,1389

16 And for the precious4022 things of the earth776 and fullness4393 thereof, and for the good7522 will7522 of him that dwelled7931 in the bush:5572 let the blessing come935 on the head7218 of Joseph,3130 and on the top6936 of the head6936 of him that was separated5139 from his brothers.251

17 His glory1926 is like the firstling1060 of his bullock,7794 and his horns7161 are like the horns7161 of unicorns:7214 with them he shall push5055 the people5971 together3162 to the ends657 of the earth:776 and they are the ten7233 thousands7233 of Ephraim,669 and they are the thousands505 of Manasseh.4519

18 And of Zebulun2074 he said,559 Rejoice,8055 Zebulun,2074 in your going3318 out; and, Issachar,3485 in your tents.168

19 They shall call7121 the people5971 to the mountain;2022 there8033 they shall offer2076 sacrifices2077 of righteousness:6664 for they shall suck3243 of the abundance8228 of the seas,3220 and of treasures8226 hid2934 in the sand.2344

20 And of Gad1410 he said,559 Blessed1288 be he that enlarges7337 Gad:1410 he dwells7931 as a lion,3833 and tears2963 the arm2220 with the crown6936 of the head.6936

21 And he provided7200 the first7225 part for himself, because3588 there,8033 in a portion2513 of the lawgiver,2710 was he seated;5603 and he came857 with the heads7218 of the people,5971 he executed6213 the justice6666 of the LORD,3068 and his judgments4941 with Israel.3478

22 And of Dan1835 he said,559 Dan1835 is a lion's738 whelp:1482 he shall leap2187 from Bashan.1316

23 And of Naphtali5321 he said,559 O Naphtali,5321 satisfied7649 with favor,7522 and full4392 with the blessing1293 of the LORD:3068 possess3423 you the west3220 and the south.1864

24 And of Asher836 he said,559 Let Asher836 be blessed1288 with children;1121 let him be acceptable7522 to his brothers,251 and let him dip2881 his foot7272 in oil.8081

25 Your shoes4515 shall be iron1270 and brass;5178 and as your days,3117 so shall your strength1679 be.

26 There is none369 like to the God410 of Jeshurun,3484 who rides7392 on the heaven8064 in your help,5828 and in his excellency1346 on the sky.7834

27 The eternal6924 God430 is your refuge,4585 and underneath8478 are the everlasting5769 arms:2220 and he shall thrust1644 out the enemy341 from before6440 you; and shall say,559 Destroy8045 them.

28 Israel3478 then shall dwell7931 in safety983 alone:909 the fountain5869 of Jacob3290 shall be on a land776 of corn1715 and wine;8492 also637 his heavens8064 shall drop6201 down6201 dew.2919

29 Happy835 are you, O Israel:3478 who4310 is like3644 to you, O people5971 saved3467 by the LORD,3068 the shield4043 of your help,5828 and who834 is the sword2719 of your excellency!1346 and your enemies341 shall be found liars3584 to you; and you shall tread1869 on their high1116 places.

1 Вот благословение, которым Моисей, человек Божий, благословил сынов Израилевых пред смертью своею:

2 Он сказал: Иегова пришел от Синая, открылся им от Сеира, явился от горы Фарана и шел с священными тьмами, одесную Его огонь закона для них.

3 Он любит народ [Свой]; все святые его в руке Твоей, и они шли вслед ног Твоих. Он принял на себя, быть вождем твоим.

4 Закон дал нам Моисей, наследие обществу Иаковлеву.

5 Он Царь Израиля, когда собираются главы народа вместе с коленами Израилевыми.

6 Да живет Рувим, и да не умрет, и [Симеон] да будет не малочислен!

7 Но Иуде сказал сие: услыши, Господи, глас Иуды, и приведи его к народу его, руками Своими да защитит Он его, и будь помощником против врагов его.

8 И о Левии сказал: туммим Твой и урим Твой на святом муже Твоем, которого Ты искусил в Массе, с которым Ты препирался при водах Меривы,

9 Который говорит об отце своем и матери своей: я на них не смотрю, и братьев своих чуждается, и сыновей своих не знает. Ибо они слова Твои хранят, и завет Твой соблюдают,

10 Учат законам Твоим Иакова, и заповедям Твоим Израиля, возлагают курение пред лице Твое, и всесожжения на жертвенник Твой.

11 Благослови, Господи, силу его, и о деле рук его благоволи, порази чресла восстающих на него и ненавидящих его, чтобы они не могли стоять.

12 О Вениамине сказал: возлюбленный Господом обитает у него безопасно, [Бог] покровительствует ему всякий день, и он обитает между раменами Его.

13 О Иосифе сказал: да благословит Господь землю его драгоценными дарами неба, росою и дарами бездны, лежащей внизу,

14 Драгоценными плодами солнца, и драгоценными произведениями месяцев,

15 Превосходнейшими произведениями гор древних, и драгоценностями холмов вечных,

16 И драгоценностями земли, и того, что наполняет ее. Благоволение Явившегося в терновом кусте да приидет на главу Иосифа и на темя наилучшего из братьев своих.

17 Крепость его, как первородного тельца, и роги его, как роги буйвола, ими избодет он народы, все до пределов земли: это тьмы Ефремовы, это тысячи Манассиины.

18 О Завулоне сказал: веселись, Завулон, в путях твоих, и Иссахар, в шатрах твоих.

19 Созывают они народ на гору, там закалают законные жертвы, ибо они питаются богатством моря и сокровищами, сокрытыми в песке.

20 О Гаде сказал: благословен распространивший Гада. Он покоится как лев, и терзает и руки и голову.

21 Он избрал себе первую часть, там почтен уделом от законодателя, но пошел вместе с главами народа, и исполнил правду Иеговы и суды с Израилем.

22 О Дане сказал: Дан - молодой лев, который выбегает из Васана.

23 О Неффалиме сказал: Неффалим насыщен благоволением и исполнен благословения Иеговы; море и юг во владении его.

24 О Асире сказал: благословен между сынами Асир, он будет любим братьями своими, и окунет в елей ногу свою.

25 Железо и медь запоры твои, как умножаться будут дни твои, так и богатство твое.

26 Нет подобного Богу Израилеву, Который по небесам принесся на помощь тебе, и во славе Своей на облаках.

27 Убежище [твое] - Бог древний, и [ты] под мышцами вечными. Он прогонит врагов от лица твоего, и говорит: истребляй!

28 Израиль живет безопасно, один; око Иакова видит пред собою землю обильную хлебом и вином, и небеса его каплют росу.

29 Блажен ты, Израиль! кто подобен тебе, народ, хранимый Иеговою, Который есть щит охраняющий тебя, и меч славы твоей? Враги твои раболепствуют тебе, и ты попираешь высоты их.

1 And this2063 is the blessing,1293 with which834 Moses4872 the man376 of God430 blessed1288 the children1121 of Israel3478 before6440 his death.4194

1 Вот благословение, которым Моисей, человек Божий, благословил сынов Израилевых пред смертью своею:

2 And he said,559 The LORD3068 came935 from Sinai,5514 and rose2224 up from Seir8165 to them; he shined3313 forth from mount2022 Paran,6290 and he came857 with ten7233 thousands7233 of saints:6944 from his right3225 hand3225 went a fiery799 law1881 for them.

7 Но Иуде сказал сие: услыши, Господи, глас Иуды, и приведи его к народу его, руками Своими да защитит Он его, и будь помощником против врагов его.

9 Который говорит об отце своем и матери своей: я на них не смотрю, и братьев своих чуждается, и сыновей своих не знает. Ибо они слова Твои хранят, и завет Твой соблюдают,

10 Учат законам Твоим Иакова, и заповедям Твоим Израиля, возлагают курение пред лице Твое, и всесожжения на жертвенник Твой.

11 Благослови, Господи, силу его, и о деле рук его благоволи, порази чресла восстающих на него и ненавидящих его, чтобы они не могли стоять.

14 Драгоценными плодами солнца, и драгоценными произведениями месяцев,

15 Превосходнейшими произведениями гор древних, и драгоценностями холмов вечных,

16 И драгоценностями земли, и того, что наполняет ее. Благоволение Явившегося в терновом кусте да приидет на главу Иосифа и на темя наилучшего из братьев своих.
