2 und3548 traten5975 vor6440 Mose4872 und vor6440 Eleasar499, den Priester, und vor6440 die Fürsten5387 und ganze Gemeine vor der Tür6607 der Hütte168 des Stifts4150 und sprachen559:

3 Unser Vater1 ist gestorben4191 in der Wüste4057 und war nicht mit unter8432 der Gemeine, die sich3259 wider den HErrn3068 empörten in der Rotte5712 Korahs7141, sondern ist an seiner Sünde2399 gestorben4191 und hatte keine Söhne1121.

4 Warum soll denn unsers Vaters1 Name8034 unter8432 seinem Geschlecht4940 untergehen1639, ob er5414 wohl keinen Sohn1121 hat272? Gebet uns auch ein Gut unter unsers Vaters1 Brüdern251!

5 Mose4872 brachte7126 ihre Sache4941 vor6440 den HErrn3068.

6 Und4872 der HErr3068 sprach559 zu ihm:

9 Hat er keine Tochter1323, sollt ihr‘s seinen Brüdern251 geben5414.

10 Hat er1 keine Brüder251, sollt ihr‘s seinen Vettern geben5414.

11 Hat4941 er1 nicht Vettern, sollt ihr‘s seinen nächsten7138 Freunden geben5414, die ihm angehören in seinem Geschlecht4940, daß sie6680 es5159 einnehmen3423. Das soll den Kindern1121 Israel3478 ein Gesetz und Recht2708 sein251, wie der HErr3068 Mose4872 geboten hat.

12 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Steige auf5927 dies Gebirge2022 Abarim5682 und besiehe das Land776, das ich den Kindern1121 Israel3478 geben5414 werde7200.

13 Und wenn du es gesehen7200 hast, sollst du dich sammeln622 zu deinem Volk5971, wie dein Bruder251 Aaron175 versammelt622 ist,

14 dieweil ihr meinem Wort6310 ungehorsam gewesen seid4784 in der Wüste4057 Zin6790 über dem Hader4808 der Gemeine, da ihr mich heiligen6942 solltet durch das Wasser4325 vor5869 ihnen5712. Das ist das Haderwasser4325 zu Kades6946 in der Wüste4057 Zin6790.

15 Und Mose4872 redete1696 mit dem HErrn3068 und sprach559:

16 Der HErr3068, der GOtt430 über6485 alles lebendige Fleisch1320, wolle einen Mann376 setzen über die Gemeine,

17 der vor6440 ihnen5712 her935 aus3318 und ein gehe935 und sie6440 aus3318 und ein führe, daß die Gemeine des HErrn3068 nicht sei wie die Schafe6629 ohne Hirten7462.

18 Und der HErr3068 sprach559 zu Mose4872: Nimm Josua3091 zu dir, den Sohn1121 Nuns5126, der ein Mann376 ist3947, in dem der Geist7307 ist, und lege5564 deine Hände3027 auf ihn;

19 und3548 stelle5975 ihn vor6440 den Priester Eleasar499 und vor5869 die ganze Gemeine und gebeut6680 ihm vor ihren Augen6440;

20 und5414 lege deine Herrlichkeit1935 auf ihn, daß ihm gehorche8085 die ganze Gemeine der Kinder1121 Israel3478.

21 Und3548 er soll treten5975 vor6440 den Priester Eleasar499, der soll für ihn ratfragen7592 durch935 die Weise4941 des Lichts224 vor6440 dem HErrn3068. Nach6310 desselben Mund6310 sollen aus3318- und einziehen beide er und alle Kinder1121 Israel3478 mit ihm und die ganze Gemeine.

22 Mose4872 wie ihm der HErr3068 geboten6680 hatte6213, und5975 nahm3947 Josua3091 und3548 stellete ihn vor6440 den Priester Eleasar499 und vor6440 die ganze Gemeine;

23 und legte5564 seine Hand3027 auf ihn3027 und gebot6680 ihm, wie der HErr3068 mit Mose4872 geredet hatte1696.

3 Our father1 died4191 in the wilderness,4057 and he was not in the company5712 of them that gathered3259 themselves together against5921 the LORD3068 in the company5712 of Korah;7141 but died4191 in his own sin,2399 and had1961 no3808 sons.1121

12 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Get5927 you up into413 this2088 mount2022 Abarim,5682 and see7200 the land776 which834 I have given5414 to the children1121 of Israel.3478

13 And when you have seen7200 it, you also1571 shall be gathered622 to your people,5971 as Aaron175 your brother251 was gathered.622

14 For you rebelled4784 against my commandment6310 in the desert4057 of Zin,6790 in the strife4808 of the congregation,5712 to sanctify6942 me at the water4325 before their eyes:5869 that is the water4325 of Meribah4809 in Kadesh6946 in the wilderness4057 of Zin.6790

15 And Moses4872 spoke1696 to the LORD,3068 saying,559

16 Let the LORD,3068 the God430 of the spirits7307 of all3605 flesh,1320 set6485 a man376 over5921 the congregation,5712

17 Which834 may go3318 out before6440 them, and which834 may go935 in before6440 them, and which834 may lead3318 them out, and which834 may bring935 them in; that the congregation5712 of the LORD3068 be not as sheep6629 which834 have no369 shepherd.7462

18 And the LORD3068 said559 to Moses,4872 Take3947 you Joshua3091 the son1121 of Nun,5126 a man376 in whom834 is the spirit,7307 and lay5564 your hand3027 on him;

19 And set5975 him before6440 Eleazar499 the priest,3548 and before6440 all3605 the congregation;5712 and give him a charge6680 in their sight.5869

20 And you shall put5414 some of your honor1935 on him, that all3605 the congregation5712 of the children1121 of Israel3478 may be obedient.8085

21 And he shall stand5975 before6440 Eleazar499 the priest,3548 who shall ask7592 counsel for him after the judgment4941 of Urim224 before6440 the LORD:3068 at5921 his word6310 shall they go3318 out, and at5921 his word6310 they shall come935 in, both he, and all3605 the children1121 of Israel3478 with him, even all3605 the congregation.5712

22 And Moses4872 did6213 as the LORD3068 commanded6680 him: and he took3947 Joshua,3091 and set5975 him before6440 Eleazar499 the priest,3548 and before6440 all3605 the congregation:5712

23 And he laid5564 his hands3027 on him, and gave him a charge,6680 as the LORD3068 commanded1696 by the hand3027 of Moses.4872
